About This 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander SE

This 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander SE is a standout example of what modern family SUVs should be. With just over 33,000 miles, this vehicle has barely been broken in. The Outlander's completely redesigned generation — introduced for the 2022 model year and refined through 2024 — brought a massive leap forward in quality, style, and features compared to its predecessor. The SE trim sits as the entry point into the Outlander lineup, but don't let the word "base" fool you. Mitsubishi has loaded this trim with genuine value, giving buyers a genuinely upscale experience without the premium trim price tag. The condition and mileage here make this one of the more attractive used SUV options in the Bakersfield market right now.

2024 Mitsubishi Outlander Performance and Engine

Under the hood of this 2024 Outlander SE is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). This powertrain combination is well-suited to the kind of driving most Bakersfield and Kern County residents do daily — highway cruising on Highway 99, surface street commuting through the metro, or weekend trips out toward Lake Isabella or the Tehachapi Mountains. The CVT delivers smooth, seamless acceleration and is specifically tuned to maximize fuel efficiency, which matters when you're putting real miles on a vehicle in the Central Valley heat. This Outlander is front-wheel drive, making it well-matched for California road conditions while keeping weight down and efficiency up.

Mitsubishi Outlander Features and Interior

Comfort and Technology

The 2024 Outlander SE comes equipped with a thoughtfully designed interior that feels more premium than its price point suggests. Buyers stepping into this generation of Outlander immediately notice the upgraded cabin quality, which borrows cues from Mitsubishi's partnership with Nissan and Renault. Standard features on the SE trim typically include a large touchscreen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, a multi-view camera system, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and keyless entry with push-button start. The Outlander is also one of the few SUVs in its class to offer an available third row, making it a genuine seven-passenger option for growing families — a major selling point for Bakersfield households.

Cargo and Practicality

With flexible second and third-row seating configurations, the Outlander gives you serious hauling capability without sacrificing passenger comfort. Whether you're loading up for a Costco run or packing for a camping trip, the cargo layout is genuinely user-friendly.

Mitsubishi Outlander Reliability and Ownership

The redesigned 2022-and-newer Mitsubishi Outlander has earned strong marks from owners and automotive reviewers alike for its build quality, feature content, and day-to-day reliability. Mitsubishi backs the Outlander with one of the best warranties in the industry — a 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty and an impressive 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, which provides exceptional peace of mind for used buyers as well. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine used in this generation is a proven, low-drama unit known for longevity and low maintenance costs. Owners consistently report satisfaction with the ride quality, the intuitive infotainment system, and the overall value the vehicle delivers over time. For buyers in Bakersfield and throughout Kern County, this translates to a vehicle you can depend on through hot summers and long commutes without sweating the reliability question.
